My name is Angela, and I've lived in Colorado with my family for six years. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I'm originally from Oklahoma and completed my undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University before pursuing my Master’s at Colorado Christian University. My specialization is in trauma counseling, and I believe that understanding our past is crucial for moving forward. As a counselor, I help my clients identify the root causes of their problems and support them in their journey to healing and personal growth. I specialized in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), A cutting-edge therapeutic option designed to help unlock deeper healing by addressing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and trauma in a safe and controlled environment. Internal Family Systems (IFS): A powerful model of therapy that helps you connect with and harmonize the different parts of yourself to achieve greater self-understanding and inner peace, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): A proven method for processing and resolving traumatic memories, helping you find relief from emotional distress.

I provide an empathetic, non-judgemental and caring therapeutic approach. My goal is to help you reduce symptoms and gain positive change. Are you having boundary issues, relationship issues (polyamorous, open, ethically non-monogamous, swinging, or monogamous), work problems, gender identity, culture issues, and/ or sexual identity issues. I am passionate about working with my clients to meet their goals. Every case is unique and requires a special therapeutic approach. I tailor my approach to your specific needs.
I help reduce suffering from relationship issues, family or work conflict, trauma, abuse, phobias, tragedy, and addiction. You can get relief from painful thoughts, feelings, memories, triggers, flashbacks, nightmares, and behaviors. Each individual is unique, so I apply a personalized approach using EMDR. We'll develop healthy coping skills.
I have specific experience working with survivors of abuse and neglect. Even if you have difficulty talking about what upsets you, and even if you have experienced limited results with talk therapy before. Our work will be collaborative in an environment of respect, support, empathy, and understanding that honors your strengths, experiences, and knowledge.
Connie Ronngren holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Colorado Christian University. She has explored various fields but has ultimately found her calling as a professional counselor.

My name is Mary. Rooted in compassion and driven by purpose, I’ve been proud to call Ouray County home since 2009. My journey into social work began in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, where I grew up witnessing the deep social and economic challenges faced by many. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for service and advocacy.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado–Denver and a Master's in Social Work from the University of New England’s distance learning program. Since 2018, I’ve been honored to serve the Ouray County community in a variety of social work roles, supporting individuals and families across all ages and walks of life. I am pleased to offer therapy services for clients of all ages at the Ridgway office.
My practice is rooted in a deep commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care. I believe in creating a nurturing, safe space where you can explore your personal journey and move toward becoming your best self. I take a holistic approach, recognizing the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit. I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2009 and bring a wealth of experience and insight to share with you.
Though this is a psychiatric practice, I offer a unique combination of resources designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of your health. By looking at your entire system — mind, body, and spirit — I work with you to create a personalized care plan that not only addresses your mental health but also fosters a sense of wholeness and balance.
I have been where you are, seeking help, clarity, and the ability to move forward in life in the healthiest way possible. I am not about creating labels or treatment plans based on them. Rather, my model is to find the root causes of the most impactful issue you are experiencing and work towards healing and resolution.
